Is the mod_proxy in apache 2.0 capable of proxying real media streams?

Is the mod_proxy in apache 2.0 capable of proxying real media streams?

mod_proxy only proxies the HTTP protocol, so the only streams it could
proxy would be those that are delivered via HTTP.
